George is a Podiatrist with 16 years of clinical experience. He is a current Honorary Associate at La Trobe University where he collaborates on world-class research trials investigating foot pain, foot and leg biomechanics, foot orthoses and rehabilitation.

Recently, George was recognised for his accomplishments in podiatry and was awarded Fellowship of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Glasgow. George holds a PhD in the field of foot posture, foot orthoses and biomechanics. He has published 27 international journal articles and a book chapter. George is a very keen sportsman. He worked with A-League Football Team Melbourne City FC as the team Podiatrist between 2012-2015 and the Commonwealth Youth Games in 2004.

George appeared on ABC Science program 'Catalyst' as an expert discussing the hot topic barefoot running

Aside from his career in podiatry and research, he has competed in cricket and football and was a state-level middle distance runner, mainly competing in the 800m event. These days however he just plays golf at every opportunity.

George is experienced in treating athletes from several sports including track and field athletics, AFL, soccer, basketball and netball. George is down-to-earth and loves the range of clients and problems that he encounters in private practice.
